Here are a few interesting cases from recent times
to show you what's possible with modern techniques.
Clinical Case 1 - Supporting Bridges

For
the technically minded (there's always a dentist looking in!),
4 is the minor abutment for the 432 fixed/moveable
bridge. The mesial area of 2 is in turn the abutment
support for the fixed moveable bridge at 1-1.
Clinical Case 2 - Accident Replacement
This patient lost his front tooth and damaged his lateral incisor
in a childhood accident.
Antibiotic
staining makes this an interesting cosmetic job for the dental technician.

Clinical Case 3 - Dodgy Front Tooth
One of these teeth is bad!
Does this give you a clue?
Aha...
This patient's front tooth was loose enough
to be taken out using fingers only - yuk!
The patient now has a temporary Maryland
bridge to see her through socket healing without having to wear
a denture.
Temporary bridge.
All the technical work for these patients
was fabricated by
Duncan McIntyre, Corstorphine, Edinburgh.
